MODERATORS
I think it's a basic podcasting technique* to have at least two people, one who delivers the content and bounces it off the other. It's very nice when they switch roles or add things like "you read this next passage".
If they have the right chemistry and enjoy themselves and do a lot of podcasting, it starts to feel familiar, also emotionally. I think that's what the pic above refers to. But of course this applies to so many more things of art and entertainment.
* of course this not endemic to podcasts, probably comes from radio and before that ...
