Steam is more consumer friendly than GoG because it offers Linux compatibility and lets the customer choose whether they want DRM.
All physical media also comes with a license.

"Yes, all black people" is just as valid an opinion as "yes, all men" for all of the same reasons.
The US is just as progressive as the rest of the world when it comes to trans athletes playing women's sports (no country allows trans athletes to compete in women's sports).
US gun control legislation has its roots in civil rights and class consciousness. Early gun control legislation was intended to directly target groups of marginalized people arming themselves against a tyrannical police force and that's still its main intent.
"Political violence" is passing laws that harm people, not punching someone because they voted for the other guy.
GoG offers Linux compatibilty, what are you talking about?
I agree, the customer can chose to buy games on GoG if they want them to be DRM free. Joke, I know there is DRM free games on Steam too.
However, all Steam games do require you to have a Steam account connected to this specific key (game) just to launch You also do need to be connected to the internet at least once every 30 days. Obviously this isn't an issue for some people but if you want to own and run your games offline GoG offers more ease of use.
States that allow abortion also tend to allow later term abortions than European countries.
