Taxes on sugar is how you start a revolution

No. These foods are very cheap and therefore disproportionately consumed by lower-income people. This is effectively another tax on the poor.

Instead, tax the profits of companies that make billions of dollars by selling us poison disguised as food; charge them to make it, don't charge us to buy it. Tax the profits of the entire company, not the products, or they'll simply raise the price of the products and achieve the same result.

Only when it's more profitable to feed us healthy food will we be fed healthy food.

Metric is good for math written on paper. Imperial is good for the guy working in the middle of a field without any way to measure.

Steam is more consumer friendly than GoG because it offers Linux compatibility and lets the customer choose whether they want DRM.

All physical media also comes with a license.

Men are encouraged to be more in touch with their emotions, but aren't given a safe place to explore them. Men-only communities should be just as accepted as women-only communities.

"Yes, all black people" is just as valid an opinion as "yes, all men" for all of the same reasons.

The US is just as progressive as the rest of the world when it comes to trans athletes playing women's sports (no country allows trans athletes to compete in women's sports).

US gun control legislation has its roots in civil rights and class consciousness. Early gun control legislation was intended to directly target groups of marginalized people arming themselves against a tyrannical police force and that's still its main intent.

"Political violence" is passing laws that harm people, not punching someone because they voted for the other guy.

In general, centered, but will adjust left/right as needed if there's something near the shoulder or center line.

Not just "trans sisters" but "trans formers" too

Can you? Yes. Is it worth your time and effort? Probably not. But that's rarely stopped anyone.

Fair enough. Happiness is hard to find. If you can find some without hurting anyone, do it as much as you can, while you can.

How does that make you feel? Is that something you're both into, or is this a story about how your divorce started?

An apostrophe always takes the place of other letters. "It's" (the contraction) always means "it is". The possessive form of "it" is always "its".

Yes, it matters. Yes, I knew what was intended based on context this time, but context isn’t always available or reliable. The only way to be sure you won't be misunderstood is to follow the same rules as everyone else every time.

The delisted games dealt in subject matter that is difficult to justify.

The problem is who gets to decide what's "difficult to justify". That should be up to the individual, not the payment card company.

MasterCard doesn’t need to help anybody buy “games” about incest, rape, or sexual assault of minors.

That might be your opinion, but again, who gets to decide what's on that list? If you don't think those games need to be played, then don't play them. It's not hurting anyone when someone plays a video game, no matter how icky the game makes you feel. No one is forcing you to play anything.
