I want to understand something: was it Ed Sheeran himself, his management or the places in USA where he was to perform who kicked out Macklemore?

Billionaires do what they do, we don't expect monsters to change their spots. Ed had a choice to make and he chose to stand with money instead of justice. Even if he risked being sued, that's still just money. Everyone left him proving he wasn't supporting his staff. It was just him, siding with money.

He made the wrong choice.

kraft banned him , then got all the other stadium owners to blacklist macklemore. Ed shareen had to throw up under the bus to keep good graces with kraft, whom is also in the files. also ED has remaining completely silent on the matter, not uttering a word for or against macklemore. So this tells you shareen really wants continued gigs from kraft.

had to throw up under the bus

I'm imagining him vomiting under a tour bus now.

I think it was the venues they were set to play at that refused to let Macklemore perform
