They are but you can still find the last stable version of yuzu pretty easily. Fitgirl ships it with her repacks, it runs pretty much everything now. Also it can strap to vulkan render API so it's a lot more functional
I run Linux so fitgirl is usually a no-go unfortunately
It doesn't work through Wine / Proton?
Barring that, a quick search lead me to this guide for running yuzu on Linux. I'm not a Linux user myself so I don't know how accessible this will be to you but it looked like it even had instructions for gathering all the tools you'd need to set it up

Eden is a Yuzu fork and has both FlatPak and AppImage versions.
The Flatpak version was just released a couple weeks ago, so not sure if it's available on every distro yet, but I was able to get it on Nobara
