MODERATORS
I grew up on Diablo 1 & 2. I could co-op with friends, the grind wasn't too bad, and the RNG table for loot was acceptable. Then Diablo 3 launched with a real money auction house, it made me realize that GAMETIME = MONEY and it just zapped all of the fun.
At the time people used to buy and sell Diablo 2 items on eBay. I guess that’s why they decided to add it to the game.
Haha i remember the real money auction house. God what a blunder that was. But glad it’s no longer a thing. Didn’t last very long
