People still pay for streaming services?
People don't know better in general, or they are aware and don't care. Third possibility is they are aware but have no means or knowledge of any alternatives.
For some people, Netflix has become akin to a utility like electricity and it is factored into the family budget every which way.
For most people, they can't imagine life without 3 things: Social Media, Streaming Services, and Amazon Prime.
