Yeah, exactly. Because it's more of a societal expectation, than a reality in any measured sense. And a very toxic expectation at that. Is the defence of "men stronger" because those defending have been beaten about the head by this expectation so much that it has harmed their sense of self and self worth. And admitting it's not accurate might cause them a form of ego death. (Which wouldn't be bad, ego formed from toxic beliefs isn't a good way to live, burn it all down and rebuild, I say).
