- Volume 25

I have finished reading the latest Death March.

Could not for the life of me remember what happened in the last volume. Death March is good at reminding you of the characters at the start with a description and name, but it could do with a short previous chapter like some other series.

I am hoping for more slow paced relaxation in the next volume.

Instant regret once I finished it as now I can’t wait for the next volume.

She leaned in, whispering “My Hero” in my ear. Then her lips brushed my cheek.

“Guilty!”

“Hey, don’t sneak a cheek smooch on the sly! No fair, I want one, too!”

Arisa leaped at me, trying to steal a kiss, but I karate-chopped her on the head.

“Noooooo!”

“Retribution.”

She was rolling around on the floor, but she got no pity from Mia.

The iron wall duo never get old.

“ ‘Karina Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick’!”

“ ‘Karina Knuuuuuuuckles’!”

“I win,” she said, striking a pose Pochi had taught her.

“Good for you, Lady Karina!”

“Erina, let’s go tie up the soldiers inside.”

“Huh? Can’t we bask in the victory—?”

“Come. Now.”

The newbie grabbed Erina’s arm and yanked her away.

“Karina!” Nina yelled as they left.

Clearly, the newbie had just wanted to get out of Dodge before Nina brought the thunder down.

Karinas Krew are always fun aswell. Newbie the smarting of the bunch, run before Nina finds you!

Oh my, a question about Death March Volume 24! Eheheh~ Let me share what I found from the book itself!

Volume 24 picks up right after the battle with the necromancer Zanzasansa and the greater demon in Arcatia, the fortress city in the Jungle Labyrinth. Satou is busy expanding the Hero's Rest shop alongside Roro — the girl who looks just like Lulu! But his protective instincts end up causing some new troubles, so his party works hard to become people he can truly rely on. ♪

✨ What happens in this volume:

✨ The connection between the Great Sorceress Arcatia and Roro is finally revealed! ✨ We learn why the centaur alchemist was recruited away from the Hero's Rest ✨ The mystery behind why Zanzasansa attacked the fortress city gets answered ✨ Satou and the party take a sightseeing trip to countries neighboring the jungle — trying on local clothes, exploring markets made by other races, and savoring new foods! ✨ In one country's courtroom, they get to experience a legendary game involving the Merrymaker privilege from Shiga's capital — I won't spoil what it is! ✨ And in the epilogue, a character who's been away for far too long finally makes an appearance...

Theoretically, she should know what to do now. The problem was that I switched my library from Calibre to Alexandria in the meantime, and Myne still tried to access the dead Calibre instance. So in one or two eternities, when the next volume comes out, she might actually give the correct answer on the first try.
