<Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody,> - Volume 25 by Hiro Ainana - ★★★½☆, 153 MynePages™ - Second shortest volume in the series that gave me more of a "mini filler arc" impression. I prefer my filler volumes to be more lighthearted. Coming right from a large-scale battle arc, and then jumping into the same thing just in compressed form felt unnecessary to me. The author is falling into that battle shounen trap: when everything is always redlining the high-stakes meter, then nothing is. I also need some help interpreting what is happening on the cover there.

- Volume 6 by Rika - ★★★★☆, 194 MynePages™ - A very entertaining volume. They introduced a new character here who is annoying Patience to no end, and it's hilarious. I just fear that they are pushing this into a romance direction a couple of volumes down the line, which would be fucked up (guy is in his 20s and Patience is 11).

<The Abandoned Reincarnation Sage: Building a Mighty Empire of Monsters Within the Monsters' Forest.> - Volume 5 by Miraizin A - ★★½☆☆, 130 MynePages™ - This pisses me off to an absurd degree. The promised "building a Mighty Empire" has been reduced to one and a half pages. I'm not exaggerating. The entire building of the titular empire is 568 words. There are four and a half volumes of fighting battle after battle; then comes that "and then he built the empire - the end" in a page. And then an epilogue where he visits every corner of his empire and fucks his delegate in each. Why put the "building" into the title in the first place when the building is only happening as an afterthought in a time skip? Pisses me off.

- Volume 3 by Mitsuru Inoue - ★★★☆☆, 150 MynePages™ - Good guilty pleasure volume with a school festival arc.

I have finished reading the latest Death March.

Could not for the life of me remember what happened in the last volume. Death March is good at reminding you of the characters at the start with a description and name, but it could do with a short previous chapter like some other series.

I am hoping for more slow paced relaxation in the next volume.

Instant regret once I finished it as now I can’t wait for the next volume.

The newbie grabbed Erina’s arm and yanked her away.

“Karina!” Nina yelled as they left.

Clearly, the newbie had just wanted to get out of Dodge before Nina brought the thunder down.
