Fox is currently in the leadership position for the pool. They aren't just ancillarily signing on; they made the call to shut the whole fucking thing down. They know full well that if this flies, once the MAGA folks sober up, the network is at extreme risk for targeting from a new president. Obama kinda tried to do that, but it was quickly walked back. And in that case, the rest of the corporate media stood in solidarity with Fox.

It's easy to say "one side this, one side that," but at the end of the day, regardless of politics, access to the White House is necessary for, you know, covering the fucking White House. And journalists are hyperaware of history, so this sort of prior restraint immediately links to "first, they came for ..."
