I know they already said to expect flagships, but it's still very disappointing to me.

Personally, I'm just never going to buy a phone with something like the 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a flagship among flagships.

What are you supposed to do with a beast like that? It's just a lot of money wasted, because nothing you'll ever use a smartphone for requires even 50% of that performance.

I hope some cheaper, weaker options will be supported by Graphene too.

All I want any phone to do is a great camera, a decent auto experience and contactless payments.

I hope linux can get a decent camera system operational. GOS stock camera is abysmal.

it truly, seriously is. I bit the bullet and got Google's camera app which sadly works much better. I just block it from having any network permissions but even then it feels really sketchy. but I'm not going back to the GrapheneOS camera, it's just so fucking miserable.

There are other options and also a neutered pixel camera somewhere but I cant find it again unfortunately.

The contactless payments would be a huge step. If Linux phones could get the actual phone functionality working on most models, that would be nice too. I desperately want what we were promised with Ubuntu Phone like 15 years ago. A functional phone with convergence would be fantastic.
