Bullshit, this is the result of decades of intense right wing propaganda in the Province. It's been peddling this kind of thing since the 80s, it's only that it got legitimized by various conservative parties across the country going off the rails in the past decade and crossing into Republican far right territory because they all thought that was a winning strategy.

There is nothing Trudeau could have done to stop this because they were always going to invent nonsense to go down this path, the same way the Convoy was launched based on half-truths and whole lies and was completely disingenuous all the way through.
