It's not like they were on vacation at Lake Ontario and just bought sweatshirts at the shop and took a photo. They were in Canada, 800 miles from the lake. They were wearing them as an F.U to Canada and to get some laughs about Trump's trolling.

Edit: they were still in the US and used AI for the shirts

The shirts aren't even real. The picture was taken in the US airport, the CEO passed off to AI with a prompt of something like "put these 4 people in Lake America shirts" and posted results to her facebook. They weren't even brave enough to buy and wear real shirts, but they fronted to social media they were.

Skimmed through it, looked up their location relative to Lake Ontario. Missed some details, like that it was AI and they weren't in Halifax yet. Still, my point was that it's not an innocent photo.
