1. Colonize Africa, appropriating its land and people.
2. Stop colonization, but never pay African countries back for it in any noticeable capacity.
3. Force African countries to join the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, both of which strongly prioritize rich countries' interests.
4. Now they're not colonies, but they still have to work like slaves to pay off unfair debts.
5. Force them to join the ICC, which, among other activities, punishes mostly African government officials for forced labour in their countries, without which they would not be able to pay off debts to rich countries.

This is the West, the one that is supposedly peaceful, democratic, and wants to build a rule-based world order. Yep, checks out.
