Can RoMM catalogue recent PC games?
Yes.
Primary file will be whatever installer/iso. Supplementary stuff is a bit awkward but can be put in, and then it pulls metadata from (primarily) IGDB and Mobygames
What you're not going to pull off is a deeply automated import of PC stuff in the way you can throw a whole ROM library at it and let the scan work.

I have this going, but unfortunately it suffers from a pretty severe memory leak in its latest version. I've watched GameVault, but am not jazzed by it's product monetization approach.
Oh, you're right! Now I'm remembering why I stopped the container a while ago. Thanks for the reminder.
