Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

That's how I started, too - shy, introvert, embarrassed to be doing something wrong, and intimidated. It might take a bit, but eventually, you just don't care what others are doing or if they're looking at you. It's great start with a trainer.
Then you keep at it, gain more confidence, notice the gains, gain more confidence and motivation to keep going... It's great. From stranger to stranger, I'm proud of you. You can do it!!! 👊💪
Heck yeah! Thank you!! 💪
I like starting a new gym with a trainer because it does help me get over that initial hesitation. My last trainer was cool as fuck and ran a boxing class that I loved. This new guy is cool as fuck too and I really like how he explains everything. He’s going to set me up with a routine after our sessions together and he analyzes what I can’t/shouldn’t do with my back.
That's awesome. I think finding a PT that understands your needs is just as important as finding a GP with the same characteristics.
Good luck on the start of your fitness journey 💪
