I want to buy a new laptop, I thought about Asus expertbook ultra with Intel ultra 7x or 9x

How good is Linux support on it? How will the battery life be ?

But they didn't test that exact laptop.

On Ubuntu 26.04 with the Linux 6.19 kernel, the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H performance was in very good shape for both performance and power efficiency.

Probably even better on kernel 7.3

I see a mention of that laptop here https://www.phoronix.com/news/Omarchy-3.7-Released

Kernel 7.2 had a fix for it https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-7.2-rc6-Sound-Fixes

What distro will you be using? I bet anything with kernel 7.2 or newer will work well.
