Too much work, there is almost zero meat on these. Like a couple ounces.

I had a redneck cooking book, and the squirrel recipe called for like several families of squirrels. (I didn't do any of the recipes it was just for funzies.)

it’s not about the meat, it’s about sending a message… and the meat

dumb jokes aside, dove was kinda that way too, frog and rabbit as well and even snake somewhat

all of it seemed like so much work compared to say a deer which was generally as plentiful as rabbit

I had a sort of Frenemy is high school that bragged about crucifying some little songbird that stunned on his glass. He is now paralyzed. The god of sparrows saw to him, or whatever.
