Unless we assume that "cis" somehow has any bearing on sexuality, the user doesn't talk about attraction at all in this post. For all we know, this user is ace and just digs the vibe. From this post alone, we don't even know if they use she/her pronouns! You're adding so much meaning and making so many assumptions that it honestly feels like you're baiting a response.
I only read “cis” here as “I believe I am heterosexual but”. I am being genuine in my observation. Zappyz_ goes by “she/her”:

Why would want to even do this in a safe community like this one? Did someone maliciously reported me 🧵 or something? I read posts&comments in good faith here as a safe/c/.
Cis referring to sexuality makes less sense when she expressed wanting to look like somebody. It makes more sense for her to be talking about gender, especially when "cis" usually isn't shorthand for sexuality. That said, I didn't notice the symbol in her username, so for that I apologize.
As far as you commenting in bad faith goes, you've had comments removed on 196 for being combative while claiming to be jovial, resulting in you accusing us of being power tripping bastards. It indicated to me that you were either exceptionally stubborn and unwilling to consider others' perspectives, or that you engage in bad faith arguments. Either way, you aren't worth arguing with.
Or confused. Largely confused.
i think alapakala is referring to the ⚢ in the user's twitter display name, which strongly implies they are sapphic to at least some degree
That is solid evidence
sure, that was indeed a clue. But this is about interpreting what “cis” here meant to Zappyz_ then. Knowing + using Greek allows me at the least the separation of attractiveness to be completely be divorced from gender, and pronouns. We don't truly know both how “cis” could have been used here, and @TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone wants me to also be aware it could be used differently than meaning “heterosexual.” Which is cool. I just think that if “-philia” was more commonly used in other languages, people would see their “egg” signs more faster.
I am quotating “egg” because Greek & Asian languages use different terms for trans “awakening awareness.”
We don't technically know how any word is being used here, but without evidence to the contrary, it's reasonable to assume that they're being used according to their accepted definitions.
Not just "could". That implies that both are correct and common. Using "cis" to refer to sexuality is an error, and a pretty rare one at that. I've seen it only a handful of times. Confusing "straight" with "both heterosexual and cisgender" is more common, but that's in the opposite direction and mostly restricted to people who think that "cis" is a slur and would never refer to themselves as such in my experience.
