i work in the US in an elementary school and the kids get so violent and out of control that we have to call the cops on them regularly. being allowed to restrain them is necessary.
I'm sure this won't have any lasting or damaging effects on them

Kinda like admitting you have been defeated by children and must resort to physical force? Change everything but ourselves?
having 4 kids doesnt not give you insight on what it is like to work with hundreds of other kids who all have their own needs and struggles.
Crazy how none of those needs are physical force
