That rear axle looks like it's made of nothing.
My 80s hatchback uses the same design, but uses quite a bit thicker material. And I assume is a whole lot lighter too.
Meanwhile, in America...
What's your point?
That American cars don't fall apart on their own, if you want the back axle off you have to tear it off?
