Welcome to the News community!
Rules:
1. Be civil
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.
2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.
Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.
Everybody needs to see that second video, where he demands that only a specific reporter isn't allowed to record him because it's a two party state, and he doesn't give HER permission, even though it's a public forum, and there are a dozen other reporters recording. And then he demands an officer come over and arrest her for violating the two party recording law, before walking away, telling the other reporters to blame HER for not getting their uncomfortable questions answered.
What a coward, and a MAGA Traitor Pedophile.
In a room full of reporters, Andy expects to ride on the expectation of privacy? He doesn't even have a fucking idea how that works.
I live in a two party consent state same as Maryland and the law only applies if you have an expectation of privacy. There is no expectation of privacy in a public place OR in a crowd of people.
That's actually what I was about to ask. I was fairly certain that this was for the purposes of hidden recordings.
A crowd of people who are there for the sole purpose of RECORDING him!
Oh NOW you guys want to talk consent huh
The funniest thing was when the reporter handed her camera to another person and asked them to record for her. She technically wasn't recording him.
Yeah, that was awesome. He thinks he's getting one over on her, so she just says "Here you hold it" to her colleague, and then goes on asking her question, WHICH HE CLEARLY DIDN'T WANT TO ANSWER!
Hilarious.
Thank you for doing what this article failed to do and describing that Twitter-hosted video. Hopefully it's uploaded to a better network.
Conservatives are all cowards. I've never met one with values that withstood the slightest scrutiny. Their god is Money, their religion is Greed, and Bigotry is their gospel.
They like raping little kids too

This is a twitter safe link.
Wow, that is some MASSIVE sovcit energy 🤣
The nice part is that now, any journalist who comes into his proximity will know that it’s a good idea to memorize that section of Maryland state law, and specifically where it is not applicable (public forums), to quote at him, chapter and verse
Just a heads up, that site immediately started trying to get me to install malware, make sure you got protection
What did it do? I had no issues. Do you use an adblocker? Please explain.
I just switched to base Firefox so I must have something misconfigured.
Probably running ads from some service that doesn't do enough oversight. (And enough isolation of the ad JavaScript, by the looks of it.)
Yeah, I didn't try it in mobile either. I'll see if I can't make a video out of it myself.
Firefox on Android here, don't see anything unusual
Oh my god, I cringed so hard I'm gonna need physical therapy. I wonder if he felt good about that encounter walking away.
Oh, No, he's going to play this encounter over in his head every single day for the rest of his life. This was the incident that ended his political career.
These morons aren't that self-aware. He's going to think he was in the right to his dying day, and declare himself a victim over any negative consequences from it.
Let’s not forget he insulted the reporter for not knowing the law.
