Uh, in a kinda fucked up way ngl:
RatX® coats the lining of a part of the rodent’s lower gut. This coating of the “fine hairs” in the lower gut, called villi, disrupts the messaging system to the rodents brain, causing it to stop drinking water. This leads to dehydration, blood thickening, kidney dysfunction, coma and eventual death. It also leads to a prcoess called "mummification", which means the body of the diseased rodent will dry out, rather than decompose normally. This means a 95% reduction in smell.
It should be noted that generally the suffering of dehydration is caused by the brain telling you you need to drink water, much like with breathing and eating. All in all it's a lot more humane than a lot of poisons.
Good to know, honestly was hoping it wasn't that bad (all things relative). At least it's not a glue trap 😅
