The Tesla Roadster flew, drove upside down, and hit 60mph in under a second
(www.theverge.com)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
It won't.
Because that's what it was.
Because it's not a legitimate consumer product and it never will be.
"Honey! Take the kid's college funds and buy Teslur!"
As a product reveal, this is nothing short of blatant fraud. I guarantee there was nothing inside that shell but gas tanks and thrusters.
Musk has done this before. His solar roof tiles were made by an LA prop company. I'm sure if he showed a magic blood testing box people would invest billions.
The solar roof tiles were a real working product, they were just unprofitable even at very high price Tesla were selling them for. I briefly looked into them when I got solar panels installed at my previous home and it was about 50% more expensive thab replacing my roof and and getting traditional solar panels installed combined.
They never happened. Putting PV panels on the shady side of a roof was as brilliant as Hyperloop.
You think they didn't know how much they would cost to make?
The ol' Sgt. Bilko maneuver.
It flies, so the price has an extra digit compared to regular cars and immediately flies out of my budget.
Be realistic; it would have at least two extra digits.
Wait, ALL the digits are extra.
Always have been.
I'm shocked it wasn't a Grok video.
