Modern food blogs wish they had this level of longevity. No popups, no ads, just stew!

A Babylonian stew prepared by Tasting History if anyone wants to try out an updated recipe:
https://www.tastinghistory.com/recipes/babylonianlambstew

and a Babylonian tuh'u specifically made for the New Year celebrations:

And just yesterday Max posted a video about assyrian pomegranate beer
https://youtu.be/MO0lKDNKxmE

Table of the Gods is a similar channel specifically about recipes of ancient Mesopotamia. Very neat stuff, some of which I believe comes from this very tablet.

All this content proudly and shamelessly lifted from the evil empire. ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't mind me, just here to updoot My Side of the Mountain. I remember reading that, and at least one of its sequels, way back in grade school. I wonder if it's due for a comeback. Seems like it would fit into "cozy lit" quite well, with its low stakes and ridiculously competent protagonist.

Haha, I'm a late-middle-aged bloke FWIW, and that book absolutely fascinated me. Just... the possibilities, you know? Ah... I love how this guy "John Plant" (i.e. Primitive Technology) teaches us how to make all kinds of useful stuff out... almost nothing, really!

Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.
