- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

What in the world are you talking about? You seem to be completely forgetting how many times state governors meet with world leaders just like the leader of Germany would.
Would you say that Gavin Newsom doesn’t represent California because Trump exists?
The federal system is literally designed such that the head of the EU isn’t the only person representing interests in the EU and the US is exactly the same way. To say that Trump represents the whole of the US is a childish oversimplification at best.

...huh? Newsom represents the state of California. Trump represents the country of America.
To say that he doesn't is just extremely ignorant. I don't even know how to go about explaining this. He's the President of the USA. It's literally the only thing he does is represent America.
What does Obama have anything to do with this? You brought him up and continuing to do so is just showing that you don’t have a real argument to make here.
