So I wonder. Because the thing is... its not.. him specifically getting walloped. And he's got this thing where he just blames everyone else whenever something goes wrong. And I can see a version of this where he accepts the outcome because he can just like, take more credit for wins in the past?

Basically, does his banal narcissism supersede his seemingly strong desire to humiliate and subjugate those around him?
