Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

Wow. Who knew that allowing wealthy individuals to purchase the means of disseminating information would result in that information favouring the views of that wealthy owner. I'm sure unlimited political donations doesn't result in anything similar, either.
I often wonder if a wealthy individual (or several) encouraged the mob to infiltrate unions in the last century in order to destabilize them.
That's always been a thing since the time of the Pinkertons and hasn't changed.
Rockstar games was reported to have had a mole within the Glasgow software union they busted up by firing all of the workers. That jackass did it for extra time off apparently.
The Pinkertons are still around!!

He... didn't think that maybe the union could help him get that...?
Ironically, the very same Rockstar Games that was sued by the Pinkertons for portraying them as the bad guys and won because, let's face it, the Pinkertons were the bad guys.
They don't even need to hire infiltrators. All they need is a few lawyers and some politicians in their pockets.

Yeah but doing that doesn't kill the reputation of the unions in the eyes of the workers.
Well, the Supreme Court said money is speech, so I guess they think so.
