What is the current way to download from music streamers like deezer, spotify, qobuz etc. Preferably lossless and preferably with a GUI. (sh.itjust.works)

I've been using Deemix for several years, but it's not maintained anymore and it finally stopped working :<

But the way it worked was you paid for a deezer.com subscription and gave the login arl token to the deemix app. Then the app could download the music files using your account.

Is there anything like that these days?

Used to be called Spotiflac and they've renamed themselves like two or three days ago, you might need to add this as a repo source to install the plugins:

Not sure how long that link will last and I haven't found the new one for Mornye yet

Does Mornye actually work? Last time I tried to use Spotiflac it would intentionally not connect to download servers unless you had the version locked behind the author's Patreon

Yeah it takes some initial setup but then it 'just works'™, although I know the one you're talking about you might have been using the other build called spotifree or spotidownloader something like that

it seems their spotify integration doesn't download stuff, did it ever download lossless flac from spotify?
