A place to share screenshots of Microblog posts, whether from Mastodon, tumblr, ~~Twitter~~ X, KBin, Threads or elsewhere.
Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.
RULES:

The reality is avocado on wheat toastwould save some people money in the long term (from doctors bills.) Fiber. Protein. A good monounsaturated fat that feeds your HDL (the “good” cholesterol.)
Bonus, fiber creates a more full feeling, longer. That sense of satiation means less snacking and less feeling the need for more food consumption overall.
Not bad for $0.40 in avocado and a slice of wheat bread.
Chuck some diced tomato and a gooey egg and you have my attention. I've also just discovered picked onions which add some tang and crunch.
I think the avocado toast meme originated when a rich millennial saw some other millennial at a Cafe and said you're not rich like me because you bought avocado toast
It was a tweet with financial advice. Remember those? Telling people to spend what little they had more wisely and drop the avocado toast.
