Possibly because the main data center companies are US held, while solar progress is much more international. Conservatives don't see the world as "emissions vs technical progress", but rather as "us vs foreign aliens".
it’s crazy how close to post scarcity utopia we can get but you get these chuckle fuck red hats that are just hell bent on letting billionaires revert us back to feudalism
I doubt most conservatives have considered where the solar panels are being manufactured. They just hate them because their favorite talking head told them to.
But both are American owned and operated but manufactured overseas...
