This looks great. Did you turn this on a lathe? I assume the piece is used in some kinda combat sport? It looks like it could be heavy drumstick

Yeah, I posted some in-progress pics yesterday, biggest lathe job I've had so far - it's used for HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts)

I've never messed with hema, it didn't get going until well after my body could do such things. But it's always cool to see gear for it, particularly specific stuff like this
