they freaked out after they couldnt scrape more data from reddit, because they wernt producing anymore, because reddit is infested with AI BOTs, and regular spammers. actual users who generated content have long banned or lurking now.
Don't worry, Reddit has their top people on the job to fix it, and in a stroke of brilliance, they're going to *checks notes* ...requiring everyone to login even to view?
