Just out of curiosity, how old are you and do you ever use your phone to watch a video or play games?
Also not OP, and I'll decline to post my age, but I'm old enough to have used small phones, and I think my previous Sony X Compact was the right size. The Enough is very close to the same dimensions.
I do use my phone to watch video or play games on occasion, and no doubt, bigger phones are better for those things. Better still is my tablet; better than that is my laptop; better than that is a gaming PC with a 32" 4K display and a mechanical keyboard.
The phone's main job is to fit comfortably in my pocket and be easily used one-handed. Making it substantially worse at those jobs so it can be marginally better at the things other devices will always far outclass it in is a fail for me.
Not OP, but I'm in my 40s and the answer to both your questions is a resounding no. I went for a pixel 3a to a OnePlus 13 about two years ago and the thing is way too big. Even my work issues iPhone 15 is a bit too big.
The screen real estate is kind of nice, but pocket fit is abysmal.
I watch videos on occasion, did it on my zenfone, do it on a pixel 7a.
Nobody is taking away bigass fones. Would be nice to have a handful of small ones.
Typing on Pixel 3a now. Love this phone.
Daaayum, pampa. So fly that even your pockets have fit?
Watch a video, sure. Play games, maybe mindustry or shattered pixel dungeon but neither of those needs a big screen.
My fairphone 6 is already way too big. It doesn't even fit in literally any waterproof bike phone holder I can find.
