Please do! Let me also share my run command etc., because initially I also had trouble getting it to run, until I landed on the right env var :)

  • For launch options I use: ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=0 gamescope -H 2160 -r 120 -- %command%
    • Set -H to your native screen height, and -r to your desired refresh rate
  • I'm using Steam in Flatpak. Shouldn't be a requirement, but might be helpful for consistency
    • I also installed org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.gamescope 26.08
  • My Proton version is GE-Proton11-7, installed through ProtonPlus or ProtonForge (shouldn't matter).

I also found the config file, it's under your games root at steamapps/compatdata/3669870/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Remedy/CONTROLResonant/renderer.ini. Here's mine: https://pastebin.com/4MSNXd80

I use frame generation & upscaling to keep temperatures down, let me know if you a config with them turned off!
