MODERATORS
My family is shattered over many things, hatred, queerphobia, racism, misogyny, lust for violence, supporting pedophilia, supporting genocide. The magats can frame it as "politics", but I'll call it out for what it is.
I would never disown a family member over politics.
Fair. Politics can get real messy without ever reaching the the things you listed.
I have my hills to die on like free effective mass transportation in every city & I'm extremely anti car centric infrastructure but I'm not calling anyone fucking removed (despite me calling myself a removed) over that let alone going no contact. I went no contact because she's an abusive narcissistic pathological liar.

Those people are largely those same descriptors you said too though lol
I'm not surprised. I have never met a conservative that isn't. The world over, it's never synonymous with equality, understanding, support, and acceptance.
They are all closet gays who hate themselves and need therapy. Usually past sexual trauma.
