FWIW, in case anyone cares or has a resolution, I have found Firefox on the iPad will not log into Beehaw. Site comes up fine, but when I try to log in I just get a spinning circle. I am using Safari to log in and it is fine. If this is fixable, cool. If it is not, I can deal. Thanks.

Thanks for the clarification. I think in that case there should be an explicit password length cap.

I entirely agree! There's an issue about this problem https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1120
