It's like they are trying to irritate people into canceling their accounts.

Imo, this one might actually be worse than the account sharing and cause people to quit. As soon as you have people messing around with their subscription version, it's all too easy to just say "nah, I actually don't want this anymore".

Netflix’s catalog seems to just be dying you watch one thing on there and you’ve seen everything.

I think this is less an issue of the library being too samey or too small and more an issue of their algorithm increasingly pushing a personalized homescreen (plus pushing their Netflix branded exclusives on all the otherwise personalized homescreens) over one that encourages discovery.

Like, there're a ton if korean shows on netflix, but it won't show them to you until you've already watched one. You have to realize you can branch out of your usual, and find what you want to watch, outside of netflix, then check if netflix has it and watch it, before it will give you recommendations in a given genre, a lot of the time.
