Hello! I am new here, and likely so are you.

It's great to see local communities online - and a great time to shape how we'd like to go on.

I'd love to hear people's thoughts on a display name change from Wellington to The Whanaganui-a-Tara.

This would not change the URL, or stop people finding us by searching Wellington.

Yeah true that, it stood out to me over on Reddit that subreddits clustered around cities leaving everyone in between to glom to their closest.

Sometimes resulting in misunderstanding if someone was in the region but assumed to be in the city.

I think your idea is better than mine :)
