Hi team,

Just wondering what proportion of you donate to the party you support?

I'm not really interested in which party you support, just if you donate or not. And the reason(s) why.

So if I want to donate some money, I don't do it on a whim. I research, looking for something that has a wide impact. That might be feeding hungry kids or something. Because I don't spend money on a whim, it has quite honesty never occured to me that I should consider a political party. Given all the charities and non-profits doing great things, political parties have never made the list.

Speaking of feeding hungry kids, KidsCan is a good one to support IMO. I give them $100 a month.

It's an easy sell for me. I've got two kids myself, and one of my close friends growing up had a single mum and needed that kind of support. Hate the thought of kids going to school hungry or cold.

I'm donating about 25% of what I put aside for my retirement, hoping to bump the numbers up as I make more money

That's really awesome of you to do 🙂
