pretty quiet week this week if you ignore whatever the hell is going on with our bathroom toilet, which has a diagnostic issue we can't troubleshoot and which has flooded once this week. calling maintenance once again to see if we can figure this out so i don't have to plunge every third time we flush (ironically it'd be way easier if we just had to plunge every time--but it's the times we don't that make this extremely bizarre)

I'm okay. I was super tired toward the end of last week, to the point where I ate PTO on Friday just so I could go home and sleep. This week is whatever. I'm starting voice training which I'm super nervous about, and other than that it's the same as always. I didn't even get an extended weekend because I don't work Mondays. 🥹

Oh, I've been there. I hope you found a good coach. Mine moved away just a few months after I started, but I learned soooo much and he was very inspiring. Saw your first session went well - congratulations!!

Ahhh, the self-doubt that drives people who excel in their areas to continually strive to improve even more... I don't mean to be dismissive, but I think this is a feature of your passion & determination, and these things carry people far further than raw aptitude alone.

Now there's something I can relate to.

I know that everything will probably be fine. It's just that I've seen so many people despairing over voice training. I don't want to feel despair, I want to be happy, so that always makes me worry a little bit. I'm willing to put in as much effort as it takes, so fingers crossed I do well. :)

Well, I'm back. The first session went really well! It was mostly just boilerplate stuff, but I'm feeling a lot more confident now that I've actually taken the first step. Finally, some homework I can be excited about. 😅
