Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

Wow, that's a long way to go for regular day trips! I hope the time between appointments increases, though if you've been doing it 15 months then I hope it wasn't worse easlier?

Has been a very regular six-weekly trip right from the start. Maybe another 9-12 months to go, so at least six more trips!

Man, that's gotta be rough. They can't just do every second one via video call?

Are they actually adjusting it or do you show up, they take a look, yip everythings good, then you're back in the car in 10 mins heading home?

I have a kid who the dentist says is almost certainly going to need braces when they are older. I'm assuming (hoping!) living in Wellington means we will be able to do it locally.

Yeah, it's adjustments each time - moving the teeth in different directions. But appointments are usually no more than 15 minutes, so it's definitely not in depth!

I love where we live, but this is definitely one of the downsides!

Oh man, so most of the day driving for a 15 min appointment. I guess it's quality time together at least!
