This is the best summary I could come up with:
A fresh SteamOS Preview release is now available for testing on Steam Deck, and although small it's probably an important one.
Fixed an issue causing no sound output in games that open and close audio devices quickly like Super Blood Hockey.
Valve don't say what stability or security improvements were done, that's all that was noted.
Additionally a few days ago on April 16th Valve also release a Steam Deck Beta Client update:
Fixed gamepad controls intermittently not working in store browser
Fixed crash when playing back certain media in Steam music player
