Welcome to this week’s casual kōrero thread!

This post will be pinned in this community so you can always find it, and will stay for about a week until replaced by the next one.

It’s for talking about anything that doesn’t justify a full post. For example:

Something interesting that happened to you
Something humourous that happened to you
Something frustrating that happened to you
A quick question
A request for recommendations
Pictures of your pet
A picture of a cloud that kind of looks like a hippo
Anything else, there are no rules (except the rule)

So how’s it going?

I've just posted an update on the lemmy.world federation saga: https://lemmy.nz/post/10046390

TL;DR things should get better soon.

Sorry @FloofahNZ@lemmy.nz for creating a solution just days after you made a new account 😆, I only got the offer for help over the weekend.

An update, we are up to date with Lemmy.world! Aussie.zone still in dire straights, but I have messaged to see if they are aware and to offer assistance.

graph showing last 30 days where activities behing lemmy.world grew and grew for lemmy.nz and aussie.zone, with lemmy.nz sharply falling to 0 over the last couple of days and aussie.zone still increasing
