More austerity for the government. Lucky for all the people who lose their jobs the government is going to make them go to seminars before they do on the benefit.

This one's weird too. In the reporting I've seen it's said ACC doesn't have the 6.5% reduction target because they're a crown entity and get most of their funding from levies. But the CE is quoted saying they're doing it anyway just cause vibes?

The organisation was not given a specific savings target from the government, but was asked to "deliver material savings", so decided to cut operational costs by 6.5 percent over the next financial year.

So this is a demand from the government.
