This may or may not be an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely do not want to see a ton of Kirk in SNW. It isn't about him, it's Pike's Enterprise. The pics make it look like he's a main feature in the episode, and having two in one season like that is the wrong direction
@ThatOneBatTurd @ValueSubtracted I read in another post (so take it with a grain of salt) that the reason why SNW has shorter seasons is that Anson Mount doesn't want to be too constrained in this role.
I have a feeling they might be preparing us for a change of leadership... 🤷♀️
Two things are an issue -
I think that should be a pretty big grain of salt, given that every other series save Prodigy has seasons of exactly the same length (Discovery's final season will also be ten episodes).
Yeah, 10 episode seasons is kinda the norm now.
I'm going to choose to not believe that, haha. The series would definitely take a hit in my eyes if they prematurely transitioned to Kirk
