Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title
The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.
Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.
- Have fun.

If you're even a little technically inclined the 64GB model and a 1TB SSD can be cheaper than the 512GB model.
Indeed, but you miss out on the etched glass if you're into that.
You should be covering up the etched glass with a screen protector.

Same and it's fine lol. I haven't needed one since like 2015 as long as your phone has good glass
Probably true, but having a screen protector really doesn’t bother me in any way and can potentially save my phone/steamdeck from my own clumsiness.
Ain't nothing wrong with that either. I think k at this point u less you have a product with cheap glass it's just up to personal preference.
I still use a screen protector on my smart watch because I do manual labor and am constantly hitting it on things like tools, nails, etc.
Never have, I travel a lot and always carry my Deck, not a scratch on it.
