This one was gnarly. I used no letters that were confirmed not in it. I think the answer was the only real word I could make by the end
That's hard mode. Hard Mode gives you a little asterisk after your score. You can set the game to always enforce Hard Mode.
No idea why, but what you said just clicked. Thank you, friend. "Hard Mode" just seems like the best way to maximize chances of a good score, exploratory guesses just don't seem worth it. At least now I get my asterisk lol
Edit: that took shamefully long. Maybe I'm in the wrong community if I couldn't even get that
