MONTCLAIR, Calif. -- A truck carrying an estimated 40,000 pounds of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer was stolen in Montclair in what may be the biggest beer heist ever.

The stolen truck was loaded with what is equivalent to more than 50,000 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Pabst has publicly addressed the theft through social media, expressing frustration while urging the person responsible to return the vehicle and its cargo.

In an Instagram post, the company wrote: "STOLEN - 40,000lbs of beer."

The post continued: "To the thief: we don't fault you for wanting to brag to your friends how much PBR you have, we just wish you obtained it the honorable way.

The company gave the thief an ultimatum.

"Pabst is officially starting the clock now - you have exactly 18 days and 44 minutes to return our truck, no questions asked. Leading up to that time, we will be offering a reward to anyone who can help us solve this mystery."

Because everyone measures beer by the pound.

Ocarina airway the width of a popsicle stick

Was reading how to make a wooden #ocarina out of curiosity and boredom, and I think the airway should be 1 cm? Seen popsicle sticks vary from 1 to 3 cm so far, including from a specific brand with varying widths in a same stick, and I don't see how more space would fit the mouthpiece.

Still, every other measure so far used a standardized unit, usually in inches and the sort, so the "Popsicle stick" unit caught me by surprise. e.e"

Scientists have long known that Earth's core is mostly made of iron, but the density is not high enough for it to be pure iron, meaning lighter elements exist in the core, as well. In particular, it's suspected to be a major reservoir of hydrogen. A new study, published in Nature Communications, supports this idea with results suggesting the core contains up to 45 oceans' worth of hydrogen. These results also challenge the idea that most of Earth's water was delivered by comets early on.
